Rent Range Rover Sport HSE

Hi! Have been a guest for a while and now a member. Have a disco 1 and a range rover p38. The disco is a project, lots of rust to cut and replace and a rear floor to replace!! I am due an MOT and dreading the smoke test Previous test result (before i bought it. No EGR bypass) 1.46 the limit is 1.5 anyone know what their smoke test results were. Mines a 2001 with 126,000 miles. will post back with latest figure after MOT.

Having done over 200 miles of motorway driving in the last 2 days the disco hasn't missed a beat thurs stuck to 65 70 mph today 70 80 mph with a push to 90 (because of a bmw i own the road). Noticed a slight vibration nothing bad but it was there. It did not feel like wheels out bal felt more central. What should i check?? by the way getting just over 30 mpg with the 70 80 mph returning better...

Quick question what is the fluid level in the tank meant to look like? full sitting on the bottom any ideas?? Secondly what fluid do i top up with if need be? Cheers..:eek:

Ok, so got my new land rover, '03 Disco w/ 114k and I have 2 small issues. First one is the one that I'm kinda worried about. So, the main fan that's belt driven works fine, the truck doesn't over heat or anything, even sitting in standstill freeway traffic with the A/C on full blast. But the secondary electic fan does not work. I was checking over everything and I noticed that the fuse was blown...

just bought a disco 2 auto bad mistake me thinks had it about 2 weeks and the auto box has started to play up wont go into gear unless u rev it up then goes in with a bang and shoots forward does the same in reverse any one any ideas
